A respected law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join its close-knit legal team. Location

• New Hyde Park, NY

Duties

• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, memoranda of law, and motions

• Manage and respond to discovery requests, including e-discovery

• Prepare for and appear at court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings

• Assist senior attorneys in all phases of litigation

• Develop skills to conduct depositions

• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with clients

• Provide high-quality client service throughout all stages of representation

• Engage with opposing counsel and expert witnesses

Requirements

• 2–6 years of relevant litigation experience

• Admitted to practice or pending admission

• Medical malpractice or healthcare-related experience is preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to state bar (or pending)
