Duties:

• Represent injured workers throughout the entire claims process, including hearings and appeals

• Conduct in-depth legal research and formulate strategic legal arguments

• Prepare case files and negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients

• Develop strong attorney-client relationships through consistent communication and support

• Collaborate with colleagues to gather evidence, review medical records, and prepare for hearings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of focused experience in workers’ compensation law

• Demonstrated proficiency in handling litigation elements such as negotiation and case analysis

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

• Familiarity with California workers' compensation procedures and court systems

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy capabilities

• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
