A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in general litigation, commercial litigation, and/or orphans court litigation, or other complementary practices that align with the firm's capabilities and goals. Duties

• Represent clients in general litigation, including commercial disputes and orphans court matters.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Manage case files, interact with clients, and coordinate with opposing counsel.
• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediation, and other forms of dispute resolution.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients.
• Handle pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on general litigation, commercial litigation, or orphans court litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in courtroom proceedings and client interactions.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state(s) where the position is based.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and case management software.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to manage client expectations and provide excellent legal service.
