The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property, particularly in drafting and patent prosecution, with expertise in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.

Duties

• Draft and prosecute patent applications.
• Collaborate with clients on patent strategy and portfolio management.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on patent-related matters.
• Assist in litigation proceedings related to patent disputes.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice law or eligible for licensure in the state of New York.
• Member of the USPTO.
• Experience with AI/machine learning, software design, semiconductors, and medical devices is a plus.

Education

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Certifications

• USPTO registration.
