Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A reputable law firm in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to join its team. The firm handles a wide range of family law cases, including high-end and complex trials and appellate matters. The attorney will manage a caseload of trial and appellate cases and gain invaluable experience working alongside some of the most respected professionals in family law.

Duties:

• Handle family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and asset division, both at the trial and appellate levels.
• Manage an individual caseload and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Provide legal counsel and strategy for ongoing family law matters.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and appeals.
• Research and analyze case law, statutes, and legal precedents to support cases.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and appellate cases.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Arizona.
• 0-5 years of legal experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in family law and appeals.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Arizona State Bar License required.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
• Experience with family law procedures and Title 25 (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
