Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Manage caseload and deadlines efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team efforts.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of general litigation experience, preferably in casualty and mass tort litigation.
