Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation from inception through trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Manage case files, ensure timely preparation of litigation documents, and maintain up-to-date records.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Advise clients on legal matters and potential outcomes.
• Develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure case efficiency.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards while upholding client confidentiality.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense matters.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar (required).

• Expertise in litigation processes and procedures.
