Patent Analyst

The candidate will be client (internal) counseling for reference management procedures and client reporting. Liaising with client and with attorneys within the Firm to coordinate due dates, reports, etc.. Filing documents for submission to the USPTO. Opening of new matters, tracking of due dates and formals, preparing and filing powers of attorneys, declarations, requests for correction, recording ownership documents with the USPTO and other foreign offices, review USPTO filing receipts. Facilitating client signatures, including preparation of documents using secure software. Becoming familiar with and becoming the resource within the Firm for questions regarding client procedures. Interacting with client software systems, to include client reporting, document uploads, and data management. Performing post-grant tasks including but not limited to patent proofreading, PTA calculations, reporting letters patents to client. Works on various other projects as needed both administrative and legal. Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from and ABA-Approved Program is required. Should have 1+ years of experience in a professional client service oriented environment. Should be Certified Paralegal.
