A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in construction defect law to join their team in Deerfield Beach. The candidate will work remotely, managing their own caseload and providing excellent client service.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy.
• Draft motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with precision.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations effectively representing clients.
• Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring timely and accurate case progress.
• Collaborate with clients and the legal team to develop comprehensive legal strategies.
• Work with little supervision, prioritizing and anticipating work needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction defect litigation.
• Must be in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Must be willing and able to bill.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
