Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Associate to join its expanding Litigation & Trial Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for legal professionals with a background in patent litigation and technical expertise to contribute to high-profile cases.

Location:

• Washington D.C.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in patent litigation cases.

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and legal documents.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop case strategy and technical arguments.

• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration.

• Analyze technical information and provide accurate legal analysis.

• Participate in depositions and conduct discovery.

• Manage client relationships and ensure timely communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent litigation.

• Background in intellectual property law.

• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Experience representing clients in federal court (preferred).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (preferred).

Skills:

• Technical proficiency in engineering, computer science, chemistry, biology, physics, or related fields.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and client management abilities.

• Effective collaboration with legal teams and technical experts.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
