Associate Attorney

A law firm in Salt Lake City is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the Consumer Financial Services, Data, and Technology Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on financial institutions. The role requires excellent academics, strong legal research and writing skills, and federal and state court experience. The candidate must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be a member of the Utah State Bar.

Duties:

• Join the Consumer Financial Services, Data, and Technology Practice Group.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and document drafting.
• Handle federal and state court proceedings, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in financial institutions' litigation matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Stay current on legal developments and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Financial institution's litigation experience preferred.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member of the Utah State Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

Member of the Utah State Bar.

Skills:
