Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced General Liability Partner to join their practice in Texas. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from any location within the state, including Dallas, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio. The position provides an opportunity to expand the firm's presence across Texas while managing a diverse caseload.

Duties

• Independently manage a diverse General Liability caseload from inception through trial.
• Play a pivotal role in the firm's Texas expansion by building and sustaining a local book of business.
• Lead high-stakes depositions, mediations, and court appearances across Texas jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with national leadership to recruit, supervise, and develop junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Act as a primary advisor for clients, providing legal analysis, risk assessment, and transparent reporting.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Texas Bar Membership in good standing or eligibility for admission without examination/reciprocity.
• Minimum of 5+ years of Insurance Defense litigation experience, focusing on General Liability.
• Proven track record as lead counsel in jury trials with extensive discovery and motion practice experience.
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads efficiently while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Texas Bar Membership in good standing.
