A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation group, focusing on Class Actions, in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will engage in meaningful work, managing cases from inception to resolution, and collaborating with a dynamic team to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Duties

• Manage a variety of cases, conducting legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft well-reasoned legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Participate in professional development and pro bono work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with class action defense, including securities, data, and privacy litigation.
• Experience managing multi-matter dockets and large-scale discovery.
• Previous federal clerkship is preferred.
• Strong persuasive legal writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
