A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join its practice in California. Duties

• Maintain and supervise a diverse caseload of clients in California.
• Communicate with clients regarding their legal matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements.
• Engage with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract law and consumer law issues.
• Travel for court appearances as required.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in California; multi-state admission is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant law firm experience.
• Superior organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with senior management and employees.
• Proficiency in legal research; LexisNexis experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
