Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Millbrae, CA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate must be a California licensed litigation associate from an accredited law school. Experience in complex litigation (including class actions and mass torts), business litigation, and employment litigation is preferred. Superior client communication, writing, research, computer, and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including complex litigation, business litigation, and employment litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Assist in case strategy development and client counseling.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.

Requirements:

• California Bar admission.
• 1+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in complex litigation, business litigation, and employment litigation (preferred).
• Superior client communication, writing, research, computer, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• California Bar admission.
