A law firm seeks a highly qualified Private Credit Associate to join its Private Credit Department in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in private credit and finance matters, with a focus on lending and various financing transactions.

Duties

• Handle private credit and finance matters with expertise.
• Engage in lending transactions, including borrower-side exposure.
• Manage a variety of financing transactions such as cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.
• Contribute to asset-based financings, restructurings, and workouts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in private credit/finance at a recognized law firm or equivalent legal experience.
• Demonstrated lending experience.
• General experience with financing transactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills
