Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Business Associate to join its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial real estate transactional matters and a solid background in business entity formation and governance.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate leases, purchase and sale agreements, and letters of intent.
• Prepare NDAs, site development agreements, and easements.
• Handle joint venture agreements and other real estate transaction documents.
• Engage in general corporate matters, including drafting commercial contracts.
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions outside the real estate industry.
• Work with private equity-backed businesses.

Requirements

• Experience commensurate with time in practice.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• License to practice in Pennsylvania.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
