Duties

• Defend developers, contractors, sub-contractors, and design professionals in construction defect and related insurance defense matters.
• Manage cases from initiation to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation, trial preparation, and trial.
• Develop legal strategies and work directly with clients as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Licensed South Carolina attorney in good standing; North Carolina license is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction defect, general liability, or insurance defense.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
