Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Banking & Finance practice group. This position involves representing both borrowers and lenders in complex domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions. Ideal candidates will bring experience in private credit, syndicated lending, and growth capital financing, and demonstrate a strong commitment to client service and collaborative practice.

Duties:
Advise borrowers and lenders in a wide variety of debt financing arrangements
Work on private credit transactions, syndicated credit facilities, and growth capital financings
Draft, negotiate, and manage complex loan and financing documents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across offices on domestic and international transactions
Provide strategic legal counsel to clients across the deal lifecycle
Contribute to the firm's high standards of legal service and client satisfaction
Requirements:
2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a Banking & Finance practice at a law firm
Demonstrated ability to manage debt finance matters independently or with minimal supervision
Excellent client service skills and commercial judgment
Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Must be admitted to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Compliance with any jurisdiction-specific practice requirements
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Active membership in the Bar of at least one U.S. State
Admitted in good standing and eligible to practice law
Skills:
Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Familiarity with domestic and international finance structures
Ability to handle multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
