A law firm seeks an experienced Public Finance Associate in Boston to lead complex bond financings and workouts. The ideal candidate will have significant public finance experience and strong drafting and communication skills.

Duties

• Lead associate on complex bond financings and workouts.
• Serve as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and issuer's special counsel.
• Represent bond credit enhancement providers and major 501(c)(3) borrowers.
• Work with institutional investors and conduit bond obligors in restructuring public finance debt.

Requirements

• Significant broad-based public finance experience.
• Substantive experience structuring bond transactions.
• Municipal bond real estate and UCC experience.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.

Skills

• Highly motivated and able to work well with colleagues and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
