A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its practice group in Sheridan or Casper, Wyoming. This role involves handling a variety of litigation matters and contributing to case strategy and client representation.

Duties

• Manage litigation cases from initiation through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations
• Participate in depositions and discovery processes
• Collaborate with team members on litigation matters

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred
• Strong academic background
• Strong writing and oral advocacy abilities
• Interest in strategic problem-solving and litigation work
• Clerkship experience is a plus but not required
• Good standing within the legal community
• Licensed in Wyoming or willingness to obtain licensure

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Wyoming or eligibility for admission
