Duties

• Handle medical malpractice defense litigation from pre-suit through trial

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions

• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy

• Manage case files and maintain meticulous records

• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Requirements

• 2–5 years or 5–10 years of litigation experience

• Background in medical malpractice defense preferred but not required

• Ability to take significant responsibility on cases

• Team-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated work style

• Submission of a writing sample required

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida
