A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior litigation attorney to join its dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will manage cases from inception to resolution, collaborating with senior attorneys and maintaining client relationships.

Duties

• Run cases from start to finish in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the point of contact for opposing counsel.
• Draft legal briefs and guide strategic decisions in complex litigation matters.
• Coordinate with partners, paralegals, and assistants on various matters.
• Manage multiple deadlines and tasks for various clients simultaneously.
• Assess legal risks for clients and research complicated legal questions.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Exposure to real estate litigation and corporate and commercial disputes is a plus.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing and research skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ease in managing client relationships.
• Ability to supervise matters throughout the entire life cycle.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
