Duties:

• Conduct client consultations to assess legal needs in elder law and estate planning.
• Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Advise clients on legal strategies for managing and protecting assets, including long-term care planning and Medicaid eligibility.
• Provide legal counsel on elder law issues, including guardianships, conservatorships, and elder abuse prevention.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized estate plans that meet their goals and ensure legal compliance.
• Stay updated on changes in elder law and estate planning regulations and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Maintain strong client relationships, providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 1-6 years of experience in elder law and estate planning.
• Proven ability to conduct client consultations and draft detailed planning documents.
• Strong understanding of elder law, estate planning, and related legal regulations.
