A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Property Insurance Associate Attorney for its Tampa office. The role will focus on first-party property insurance disputes, with opportunities to handle a range of insurance defense and coverage matters. This position is ideal for candidates with 3-5 years of litigation experience, including drafting coverage opinions and managing cases related to insurance coverage and bad faith.

Duties:

• Draft coverage opinions and litigate insurance coverage and bad faith cases.
• Manage cases from inception to conclusion, including drafting motions, handling discovery requests, and taking depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, providing effective legal counsel.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide legal research and analysis on complex insurance-related matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure effective case management and strategy.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, specifically related to property insurance.
• Strong background in drafting and analyzing insurance coverage opinions.
• Experience managing cases, including motions, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Florida Bar admission is required.
• Ability to handle complex insurance defense and coverage matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar membership.

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Proficient in case management, including handling discovery, depositions, and litigation strategy.
