A prominent law firm is seeking a Senior Real Estate Associate to join its Real Estate and Land Use practice in Phoenix. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions to work with a Chambers-ranked practice group. The role involves managing a broad range of real estate matters for a sophisticated client base that includes REITs, institutional investors, private equity funds, developers, health systems, renewable energy companies, and more. The ideal candidate will take ownership of complex transactions and enjoy working in a highly collaborative, cross-office team environment.

Draft and negotiate legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions
Handle acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing of real estate assets
Manage real estate secured loans, modifications, and workouts
Oversee due diligence efforts and coordinate closings
Advise clients on a variety of real estate issues across multiple asset classes
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients across practice areas and geographies
Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior team members
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate law
Proven track record of managing complex transactions and client relationships
Ability to independently handle deal flow from start to finish
Familiarity with institutional-level clients and sophisticated real estate structures
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the State of Arizona, or ability to obtain promptly
Advanced legal drafting and negotiation skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and efficient with the ability to manage multiple priorities
