Duties

• Develop strategies for various litigated matters, including commercial, regulatory, and civil litigation.
• Manage all phases of litigation for assigned cases.
• Oversee discovery processes.
• Appear in state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and writing assignments.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct depositions and analyze facts.
• Report case updates to managing attorney and clients.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Commitment to excellence and strong ethics.
• Ability to interpret complex legal and business documents.
• Experience in pre-trial, trial, arbitration, and post-litigation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
