Duties

• Assist in drafting and negotiating construction, design, and related contracts.
• Collaborate to assess project-specific contractual needs.
• Apply legal expertise to identify and mitigate risks during contract formation.
• Work with a diverse client base, including public entities and private developers.
• Support international project work as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Florida.
• 7+ years of experience in construction law and contract work preferred.
• Experience with drafting contracts required.
• Litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong legal writing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Familiarity with legal tech tools (e.g., NetDocuments, Perfectlaw, Lexis Nexis).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
