Asbestos Litigation Attorney/Senior Counsel

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking an experienced Asbestos Litigation Attorney/Senior Counsel with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in all stages of asbestos-specific litigation. The ideal candidate will also possess general product liability experience. This position is based in Dallas, TX, and requires an active Texas Bar license.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of asbestos-related cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on asbestos-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, co-counsel, and clients to develop effective legal strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos-specific litigation with general product liability experience.
• Active Texas Bar license and current practice in Texas.
• Excellent academic record from a reputable law school.
• High attention to detail and superior judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action clearly and persuasively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Texas Bar license.
