Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly qualified Private Wealth Planning Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in high-net-worth wealth planning, exceptional communication skills, and expertise in estate and gift tax strategies and laws.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to high-net-worth individuals on wealth planning matters.
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Conduct legal research on tax laws, regulations, and case law related to estate planning.
• Collaborate with clients and other professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to develop comprehensive wealth planning strategies.
• Manage and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to estate planning.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in high-net-worth wealth planning.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Experience managing projects and client contacts.
• Strong knowledge of estate and gift tax strategies and laws.
• Law firm or accounting firm experience in estate planning is preferred.
• Currently enrolled in or completed a related LL.M. program preferred.
• Juris doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the New York or Maryland Bar.

Education:
