A law firm seeks an ambitious mid- to senior-level attorney with at least 5 years of experience to join their Environment and Energy Practice and Insurance Recovery Teams in Buffalo, New York. The firm handles nationwide environmental and insurance matters for a diverse clientele, including developers, energy companies, and municipalities.

Duties

• Collaborate with legal and environmental engineering teams on complex cases.
• Advise clients on environmental regulatory compliance and litigation.
• Engage in transactional and claims-related legal work.
• Represent clients before federal and state agencies and in court.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with environmental regulations such as NEPA, CWA, CAA, ESA, and RCRA.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• New York bar license required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Excellent legal advocacy and writing skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal issues independently.
