Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Corporate group in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions or providing strategic support to start-ups or venture capital firms. This role involves significant client interaction, including with CEOs and Boards of Directors.

Duties

• Provide counsel to early-stage entrepreneurs.
• Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A.
• Engage in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds.
• Collaborate with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem.

Requirements

• JD from 2023 - 2024.
• Previous large law firm experience required.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York.
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
• Experience in M&A, venture capital financings, and/or growth equity financing transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Juris Doctor (JD)
