Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA, is seeking a dedicated and driven Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of litigation matters, with a primary focus on workers' compensation defense. The role involves working closely with senior attorneys, managing claims from initiation to resolution, and representing clients in the courtroom. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within a collaborative legal environment.

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases, ensuring timely and efficient handling of claims.
• Manage cases from inception through to resolution under the guidance of senior attorneys.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Provide legal advice to clients and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality legal service.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia (Georgia Bar License required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of professional ethics.
• Previous experience in workers' compensation law is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Experience with legal software and case management tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and client-focused mindset.
