Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses in complex business litigation

• Conduct legal research and prepare substantive memoranda

• Collect, review, and analyze documents in support of case strategy

• Participate in taking and defending depositions

• Support arbitration proceedings, trials, and appellate litigation

• Collaborate with partners and clients throughout all stages of litigation

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

• Strong legal writing and research abilities

• Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions

• Familiarity with deposition practice and trial preparation

• Admission to the Minnesota Bar or eligibility for prompt admission

• Other state bar admissions are a plus

• Former federal clerkship experience is highly valued

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic record required

Certifications

• Admission to practice in Minnesota, or eligibility to obtain admission
