Duties

• Appear in Supreme, Surrogates, and Federal Court for motions and mediations.
• Maintain communication with clients, investors, and adversaries for case progress.
• Build relationships with court personnel to manage case timelines and filings.
• Oversee and mentor support staff in legal documentation and client communication.
• Draft and manage complex motions for litigation and loss mitigation processes.
• Review paralegal work to ensure quality and accuracy of legal documents.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in foreclosure matters in New York State.
• Admitted to practice in New York; EDNY and SDNY admission is a plus.
• Superior organizational skills for managing multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills for complex motions.
• Effective communication with clients, adversaries, and court personnel.
• Leadership qualities to manage and guide support staff.
• Proactive, independent worker eager to learn and grow.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
