Responsibilities: Provide advice and support and serve as project manager with respect to projects resulting from the implementation of the recommendations of the IT legal roadmap including tools such as e-billing/matter management, self-service platform, conditions precedent platform, contract management, content management, business process management, e-approval, e-signature. Create requirements definition documentation and simple functional specifications, including use cases and business process diagrams, under guidance. Validate business requirements and specifications and take a leading role in clarifying technical feasibilities and sign-off for requirements/specifications, under guidance. Break down business processes to key functions using process and data flow diagrams or similar methodologies. Analyze existing business processes, document for opportunities to apply technology tools to create efficiencies. Undertake training in relation to all legal technology team tools and achieving a high level of proficiency in all team tools. Understand why certain legal technology should be used for particular use cases. Explain to CLED staff and internal clients how CLED should assess the value of certain technologies. Test and provide quality control on any proof of concept/pilot alongside the program/project team. Evaluation and testing of other new technologies. Design and create online interfaces for CLED staff and internal clients. Communicate with colleagues around the world to support legal automation and other technology projects. Assist with implementation of the Legal Operational Risk reporting. . Assist with enabling efficiencies by creating seamless access to legal and department institutional knowledge through the organization and centralization of key policies, processes, memos, and other learnings. . Assist the Global Lead Knowledge Management to support the delivery of appropriate plans, resourcing, activities to achieve the agreed knowledge management objectives. Assist CLED Specimen Committee operations with the following: (i) updating/ harmonizing legal specimen documents with respect to content, access and ownership, (ii) organization of various CLED template/specimen/guidance documents on the new CLED intranet site, (iii) maintaining various internal communications and document logs in relation to the above.
