The candidate should have 2-4 years advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, drafting and revising employment policies, working on harassment, discrimination, FMLA, ADA, retaliation, and wage and hour law matters. Have experience taking depositions, arguing motions, preparing cases for trial, handling grievances, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges and collective bargaining negotiations are strongly preferred. Have a strong academic record, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be licensed and in good standing in Michigan, or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.
