Location:

• Daytona Beach, FL

Duties:

• Draft and review development agreements and related documents

• Represent clients at local government meetings and public hearings

• Coordinate and manage applications for zoning changes, land use amendments, and Planned Developments

• Provide legal counsel regarding compliance with local and state regulations

• Collaborate with planning, engineering, and development professionals on land use strategies

• Optional: Engage in the formation and representation of Community Development Districts (preferred)

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing land use law

• Experience with zoning, planning, and local government processes

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in public and legal settings

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• No existing book of business required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of land use, zoning, and development law

• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

• Strong organizational and case management abilities

• Public speaking and negotiation experience
