This position involves representing and advising professional clients on a variety of legal matters, including claims avoidance, malpractice, and ethical issues. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in litigation, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced legal team.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to professional clients in matters involving claims avoidance, malpractice, negligence, and ethical concerns.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide legal analysis for professional liability cases.
• Conduct discovery, take depositions, draft motions, and represent clients in hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable outcomes for clients.
• Manage client relationships and respond to client needs and requests promptly.
• Collaborate with the legal team to deliver high-quality legal services.

Requirements:

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 5-7 years of experience in professional liability litigation.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and grow a book of business (existing book of business is preferred but not required).
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida (required).
