A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will provide legal advice, conduct research, negotiate on behalf of clients, and handle workers' compensation law cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of labor and employment law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice to clients
• Conduct legal research on various issues related to labor and employment law and workers' compensation law
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Handle workers' compensation law cases from start to finish
• Work independently and remotely as needed
• Utilize experience in workers' compensation defense litigation and risk management if applicable

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
• California Bar License in good standing
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law and workers' compensation law
• Experience providing legal advice and conducting research
• Negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely

Certifications:

California Bar License

Preferred Experience:

Experience in workers' compensation defense litigation and risk management
