A law firm in Miami is seeking a highly qualified Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess top academic credentials, strong writing skills, and litigation experience, particularly in first-party and insurance coverage litigation. Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar is required, along with experience in taking and defending depositions and attending hearings.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to insurance litigation matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients on insurance coverage issues.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case management and strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Manage caseload independently and meet deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in insurance litigation, preferably with a focus on first-party and insurance coverage matters.
• Excellent academic record from a reputable law school.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions, as well as attending hearings.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Florida civil procedure and insurance laws.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
