International Tax Associate Attorney

Profile

New York City office of an AmLaw firm seeks international tax associate attorney with 3-5 years of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets experience. The candidate will be comfortable handling complex contractual work, combining a vigilance and eye for detail with the creativity to develop innovative solutions. Will be expected to take on significant responsibility from an early stage-preparing tax analyses, drafting memos and opinions, reviewing and marking up contracts, and negotiating with other side counsel. Be working alongside experienced partners within the Tax Group, and with colleagues across the firm’s international offices and practices from mergers and acquisitions and Banking to Capital Markets and Financial Restructuring and Insolvency. Draft tax-related provisions for a variety of documents including, merger agreements and similar mergers and acquisitions transaction documents and credit agreements. Coordinate internal and external resources in the various competence areas necessary in domestic and international transactions. Must be admitted to the Bar and in good standing.
