Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload involving commercial litigation, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy matters.
• Represent financial institutions and lenders in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, and trials.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to loan workouts, forbearance agreements, foreclosures, and debt enforcement.
• Provide legal counsel to clients regarding compliance, risk management, and creditor remedies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and staff to develop effective legal strategies.
• Assist with the mentorship of junior staff and business development initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• 5-12 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation, creditors' rights, or bankruptcy law.
• Proven motion and courtroom experience, strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
