Location:

Duties:

  • Lead and manage M&A transactions, particularly the drafting and negotiation of principal acquisition agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel on M&A transactions for both private and public companies.
  • Work directly with clients, senior attorneys, and other business professionals.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various aspects of M&A deals.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance during the deal process, helping clients navigate complex business transactions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, contracts, and other related materials.
  • Manage multiple M&A transactions simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in M&A, working with both private and public companies.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating principal acquisition agreements.
  • Strong experience at a nationally recognized, AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, and independently when needed.
  • Admission to practice law in New York.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
