A law firm seeks a finance associate to join its Business Restructuring and Reorganization team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have experience representing creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings.

Duties

• Represent creditors or borrowers in liability management transactions.
• Engage in DIP and bankruptcy exit financings.
• Handle special situations financings.
• Work on high-profile capital structure representations.
• Collaborate with hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and financial institutions.

Requirements

• Experience in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
• Law school class years 2019 through 2023 preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
