Duties

• Handle cases from inception to resolution.
• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs.
• Negotiate settlements and collaborate with clients and paralegals.
• Analyze written discovery, depositions, and medical records.
• Assess claim values to determine risk exposure.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in auto defense litigation or plaintiff's personal injury.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in organizing and prioritizing workload using an electronic diary.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify risks and understand applicable ethical duties.
• Effective client and customer negotiation skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
