Manager - Alternative Investment Funds

The candidate will engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.). Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively. Conduct a primary and secondary review of complex federal and state tax returns. Supervise, train, mentor and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and Interns. Should have 4+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years of Alternative Fund experience. Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree; Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (Preferred). Advanced credentials allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service is required (i.e. CPA or JD). Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Proficient use of technology.
