Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, focusing on first-party property cases
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft, file, and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide case law analysis
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients and assist with case management

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Florida Bar license in good standing
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance defense law, with a focus on first-party property litigation
• Strong background in litigation, including depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida Bar License
