Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced General Liability Partner in San Antonio, TX, or anywhere in Texas. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and contribute to the firm's expansion across the state, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Duties

• Independently manage a diverse General Liability caseload from inception through trial.
• Leverage relationships with insurance carriers and corporate clients to build a local book of business.
• Lead depositions, mediations, and court appearances across Texas jurisdictions.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Provide sophisticated legal analysis and risk assessment to clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of Insurance Defense litigation experience, focusing on General Liability.
• Proven track record as lead counsel in jury trials.
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Texas Bar Membership in good standing or eligible for admission without examination/reciprocity.

Skills

• Strong litigation leadership and trial advocacy skills.
• Excellent client stewardship and business development abilities.
