Texas-based litigation boutique is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate (2-5 yrs.) (construction defect,, general liability litigation (premises, tucking, oil field, etc.). Work directly with supporting busy partners in their litigation practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Heavy deposition experience
-Analyzing cases for assessment of liability and damages
-Be familiar with billing procedures
-Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions and briefs
-Formulating legal strategy
-Managing document production
-Answering discovery
-Preparing for and attending depositions
Position Requirements:
-Exceptional writing, research and analytical skills
-Dedicated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
-Superior organizational and time management skills
-Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
-Excellent interpersonal, networking and business development skills
Other Requirements:
-Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and be in good standing
-Construction background helpful
Firm provides a very competitive benefit package along with beautiful offices in downtown Dallas.
Salary:$95,000-$110,000 DOE
